French-Belgian fashion designer Matthieu Blazy has been unveiled as the new Creative Director of Chanel, succeeding Virginie Viard who left the fashion house in June 2024.

Blazy, who served as the Creative Director of Bottega Veneta for three years, commented 'I am thrilled and honoured to join the wonderful house of Chanel. I look forward to meeting all the teams and writing this new chapter together'.
